So it's now being reported that Al Gore's house uses 20x's the electricity and gas of the average house in Tennesee. Hmmm...
You know at this point I'm kinda hoping for two things on the human caused global warming front:
1) Al moves to Michigan and uses some of that energy abuse to warm up our freaking freezing weather!
2) We all need to step up usage and finish the world off so I don't have to listen to all the hypocrisy anymore. (I just bought a Dodge 1500 pick-up so I'm doing my part, it burns gas while turned off in the garage)
As a sidebar: How come so many who write off Christianity because of all the hypocirisy will joyfully jump into bed with the human caused global warming crowd and overlook all their hypocrisy?

I've said what I think.
Yeah, is a rich and blue blooded hypocrite... there is a LOT more he could be doing to (1) conserve energy, (2) be a leader.
However, keep in mind, (1) his house is probably 20 times bigger than the average Tennessee house, (2) he probably has a full staff of serfs on the premises as well as guests, extended family, and freeloaders. I'm sure there are more people USING the energy that is used at his house. Still, he's a Rich Man, and he lives like one. He doesn't strike me as the kind of person who is going to give away all his worldly goods.
So, Al is being hypocritical when he tells other people to be energy conservative, just like Bush (to pick one example) is hypocritical talking about sacrifice and sending other peoples' kids to die while his girls party it up.
And Global Climate change is NOT a Christian issue. Everyone is going to be screwed by all of the of the messed up environmental issues coming down the pipe.
And really, it's not the Christians that are the poster chlidren for hypocrisy... it's the Republicans of course.
No argument there.
It seems only the rich can afford to be green.
